BUD DIENER
Senior Pastor
Bud and his wife, Teresa, have called BPC their home since 2015 when they moved back to Washington after ministering in South Africa for several years. Bud has been a church planter, a missionary, and is now loving being a pastor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry & New Testament Greek, a Master of Theology in Systematic Theology, and a Doctor of Theology in Systematic Theology. Bud is passionate about God’s Word (memorizing it, communicating it, and stirring people up to know God through it) and bringing glory to God through all aspects of our lives.
Bud and Teresa love their five kids and fourteen grandchildren. They are often found spending time with their sweet family, reading an awful lot of books, taking long road trips, watching fixer-upper type shows, or enjoying a good ribeye steak.

Jedidiah Thangthat
Director of Children’s Ministry
Jed grew up in a Christian family in Myanmar (also known as Burma, located in Southeast Asia on the other side of the world) before his family fled to Malaysia in 2007 due to religious persecution. They later resettled in SeaTac in 2011. At age twenty, Jed sensed God’s call to ministry and went on to earn a B.A. in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University.
He married his wife, Rebekah, in 2020, and they are blessed with two children, Isaac and Grace. Prior to joining BPC, Jed was not aware of paid opportunities in Children’s Ministry. God brought him here. He considers it a great privilege to serve in this role and is sincerely grateful for the generous support and training he receives. He and his family live in a church-owned home next door with quite a big yard, where they enjoy spending time outdoors, playing, mowing the lawn, doing yard work, and gardening. In his free time, he also enjoys playing and watching soccer, running, hiking, playing guitar, and singing.
LISA BOWEN
Director of Women’s Ministry
After 26 years of being an elementary classroom teacher, Lisa felt God calling her to take a leap of faith, leave what she’d known and trust Him to show her what He had planned for her. What an incredible blessing it was to realize that it was being called into Women’s Ministry! For the last nearly nine years, her heart’s desire has been to find and nurture new ways to connect women to Jesus in a deeper way and to provide opportunities to build relationships between the wonderful women who call BPC their home.
In her spare time, Lisa loves working in the yard planting flowers, reading historical fiction, writing letters, watching “I Love Lucy” and “Andy Griffith” reruns, and you’ll almost always find her drinking a Trenta Starbucks iced tea!
Lisa and her husband Allen have been married for 35 years and have two amazing grown "kids," as well as a daughter-in-law they adore. They enjoy going out to eat with friends, traveling to their happy place of Maui, cheering on the Mariners, and spending time with their sweet family whenever they can.
LUKE DIENER
Youth Director
My name is Luke Diener, a familiar name from earlier on this page! If you want to hear that long story, come ask me! I was involved with the youth ministry right after I graduated high school and have been involved since. I love to see students grow in their relationship with the Lord. To see young and brilliant minds set themselves to the task of glorifying our God and Father. I have a wife, Cayla, who makes me understand Proverbs 18:22. I have a daughter, Lydia, who makes me appreciate Psalms 127:3-5. And a boy on the way who already is bouncy and chaotic. My hobbies include games, disc golf, getting into hiking, and studying scripture and theology.
JOSH RICHINS
Worship Director
Josh has had a passion for music from a very young age, and over time God has grown that into a desire to serve the church through worship. As the Worship Director at Boulevard Park Church, he has the privilege of leading and supporting the music ministry with the goal of pointing people to Christ and encouraging meaningful, God-centered worship. These verses are an anchor to his ministry: “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:24), and “Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a loud shout” (Psalm 33:3). Alongside leading, Josh enjoys investing in and equipping other musicians as they grow in their gifts. Josh and his wife, Priscilla, moved to the south Seattle area in 2022. Outside of church, he spends much of his time teaching guitar, recording, running sound, and playing live music.
KATHY RAINEY & LORI NEUMANN
Kathy Rainey and Lori Neumann serve as the Administrative Assistants for Boulevard Church. Kathy has been a faithful part of the Boulevard family for more than forty years, and her institutional knowledge, steady presence, and servant's heart are woven into the very fabric of this church. Lori joined the team in 2025, bringing fresh energy and a genuine commitment to serving both the staff and congregation. Together, Kathy and Lori keep the day-to-day ministry of Boulevard running smoothly, and they are often the first friendly faces and voices people encounter when connecting with our church.
