The BPC Women’s Ministries is multi-faceted and includes a number of ways to get involved. We provide opportunities for women to experience fellowship no matter what stage of life they are in, as well as opportunities to serve and reach out to those in our community. We desire to see the women in our body come to know Jesus is in a deeper way, and so we offer a number of discipleship opportunities.
If you have any questions, or are new and would like to get involved, call the church at (206) 243-2600, or email us!
Our church’s adult Sunday School offerings always include a class especially for women. Topics change quarterly. All are welcome.
This evening of study & fellowship begins with refreshments and socializing, then time in the Bible followed by small group sharing and prayer. Newcomers are warmly welcomed as we relate God’s goodness as He works in our lives. All women are invited and encouraged to bring friends and/or co-workers.
WOW encourages Bible study and personal growth through worship, hospitality, fellowship and prayer. Several classes are maintained during the whole season, while others change topics and leaders. Child care from birth to school age is offered by appointment.
This annual spring program is a popular fellowship event which celebrates women’s relationships with each other–mother, daughter, sister and friend. Women of all ages enjoy a special program and dessert together. Planning, preparation and execution of this event requires many hands.
This all-day enrichment event includes excellent messages from God’s Word, an opportunity to develop friendships and/or learn a new skill, meaningful worship, sharing with other women plus lots of laughter! Our goal is to deepen intimacy with God, to strengthen the bonds of fellowship within our church family and to provide an interesting outreach to our friends and neighbors.
Both mom groups meet in the same location
MOPS – Mothers of Preschoolers, is a program for moms and their children from birth through kindergarten. Children are cared for and taught God’s Word by our loving volunteers as their moms build friendships with others moms, enjoy group activities, and listen to encouraging speakers discuss the challenges and responsibilities of motherhood and family life. A study hall is available for homeschooled children of moms who have both preschoolers and school-age kids.
MOMSnext – Moms need community! This is true during the preschool years and beyond. As children enter the school years, new challenges and issues for mothers arise, but the need for community and hope remains. For this reason, we offer MOMSnext, a ministry to mothers of school-age children. MOMSnext is an open, accepting place for moms to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help, and spiritual hope. There is one study hall available for all homeschooled children whose moms attend either MOMSnext or MOPS.
The heart of this circle is to serve and help others. They meet once a month and enjoy close fellowship and support as they study and work on ongoing projects such as making lap robes for veterans and rest homes, raising funds for missions, creating care baskets, and other deserving causes.
