Bud, his wife Teresa, and their five children have a long history in the Northwest. He joined the staff of Overlake Christian Church as a pastoral intern in 1983, became the youth pastor in 1985, and in 1989 planted Evergreen Church in Sammamish. Pastor Bud served as the senior pastor at Evergreen for 18 years. Bud holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and New Testament Greek, and a Master of Theology degree in Systematic Theology. In 2007 God called Bud to South Africa to train pastors, teach, preach, and share the Gospel. Due to recent changes in South African immigration law his ministry there has come to a close. On June 7, 2015 BPPC called Bud to be Senior Pastor and as of October 2015 he is at BPPC full time.

After 26 years of being a classroom teacher, Lisa felt God calling her to take a leap of faith and leave what she’d known, and trust Him to show her what He had planned for her. She is so excited, and very humbled, to see that Women’s Ministry is what He had waiting!
Her heart’s desire is to find and nurture ways to connect women to Jesus in a deeper way and to help build relationships between the amazing women of BPC.
In her spare time, she teaches English to kiddos in China on-line (very early in the morning!) and loves to spend time working in the yard, going out to eat, reading, watching “I Love Lucy” and “Andy Griffith” reruns, drinking iced tea, and just hanging out with her family.
As a native of the Boulevard Park and the Highline area, Lisa is thrilled to be able to serve alongside believers old and new, both in the community and at Boulevard Park Church. She earned a teaching degree from Seattle Pacific University, and after a two-year stint teaching in Managua, Nicaragua went on to study missions at Fuller Theological Seminary. When they’re not at church doing KIDs Ministry fun, Lisa, and her husband John and their three daughters, enjoy swimming and kayaking on Angle Lake, camping in the summers, hugging fluffy bunnies and spending time together at home playing board games and watching movies.
